Scooby stood on a rotating platform in the Falcon Fury’s suit pod as an imaging laser measured his body. Shaggy and Blue Falcon looked on.

FSHHHT! Robotic arms sprayed Scooby with a foam that quickly hardened into the panels of his new suit. But when they reached his neck, the robots stopped and an alarm sounded. DUH-WEET! DUH-WEET! DUH-WEET!

“Like, what’s wrong?” Shaggy asked.

Blue Falcon peered at Scooby. “Looks like that old collar is in the way of the chest panel.”

Scooby looked down at the collar Shaggy had given him all those years before. He looked at Shaggy, who gave him a small nod. Reluctantly, Scooby took off his collar, and a robotic arm snatched it away from him. Then robotic arms applied the final pieces of his uniform. Another arm held up a mirror for Scooby. He liked what he saw.

“Whoa. Awesome!” he said.

“Next year, every dog is gonna wear this costume!” Blue Falcon enthused.

“What do you think, Raggy?” Scooby asked.

Forcing a smile, Shaggy said, “Looks great.”

And then he walked away.
