You have no chance to see how she would adapt in a foreign country.
There is no way to escape routine problems as you could if both of you were on vacation (for example, your woman might have to go to work, keep prior commitments, etc.).
You need a visa to enter all Former Soviet Union countries, except Ukraine.
Not knowing the language or traditions of the country you are visiting can cause all sorts of misunderstandings and awkward moments. For example, men often get uncertain because they don’t know what woman’s friends or family members are really saying.
Long flights (very long flights!). It can take up to 28 hours to get to Kazakhstan from the US, for example.
You will spend money. In many cases, pricing might come as a shock to you. For example, I have heard numerous complaints from foreign men about how expensive accommodation is in Ukraine.
Many of her friends might be forceful in giving advice or sharing their opinion of you, if it is dictated by jealousy, such “advisers” can easily ruin a potential relationship
If you are not careful, you will be taken advantage of in a financial sense – foreigners are often charged through a “special pricing structure” (normally 10 times higher than regular prices).
Food might be difficult to adjust to. Many foreigners complain of upset stomach, some even lost weight due to the total cleansing of the system.
The number of beautiful available women might get you confused and distracted from the one you originally came to visit. It can also be the reason for a break up.
You will be limited in the opportunities of surprising your woman in a romantic sense (i.e. planning a picnic or a trip, even booking a restaurant).
Discomfort of being in a new, different environment can distract you from the original goal of your trip and cause you to focus on discomfort instead of building the relationship.
