Monday

On Monday, Drew didn’t call or text.

Megan Gardenia yelled at a longtime customer and earned the flower shop a bad review online.

Chapter 16

Tuesday

On Tuesday, big sister Tina Gardenia fixed the “misunderstanding” with the unhappy customer from the previous day. The customer changed the review from bad to good, raving about Tina, the “best florist in town.”

Tina also smoothed things over with Rory, who said she shouldn’t have brought up Howard with Megan, and that the argument wasn’t entirely Megan’s fault.

Tina gently suggested that Megan attend the self-help group that night, or take the money from the pink box and pay to see Feather for some one-on-one counseling.

Megan did not take the suggestion well.

At ten minutes to eight on Tuesday night, ten minutes before the group session would be starting, Megan, who was at home sulking, decided she would go to group therapy after all.

Feather had given Megan the choice of dating Drew or coming to the group, and since the first option wasn’t happening, Megan had no choice but to go.

Mostly for the good of the group. The group needed her there, of course.
