Roast Pork with Grape Sauce
I can’t remember my mother ever cooking with grapes, even though vineyards surrounded us. Grapes were packed for export, eaten or used to make jam. Yet grapes go so well with meat dishes like chicken or pork, and then there is the well-known Sole Véronique. For the following recipe I used deboned neck of pork, but any pork roast or pork chops will do, as the sauce is the main flavour. Annie

salt and lemon pepper to taste
125 ml (½ cup) semisweet white wine
