Process Layer

The process layer is structured according to the reference model eTOM, which provides a specific recommendation for the telecommunications industry. On a high level, processes are differentiated into the following three process groups (TM Forum 2015a, p. 9):1. Strategy, Infrastructure and Products (SIP) contains all processes required to plan, design, and implement a business strategy, technical infrastructure and products.

2. Operations covers all processes to run a telecommunications operator with existing infrastructure and products.
