Imagine here what it would look like to make our jobs truly human. Imagine how we might organize farming or even mining to make the work âgood workâ for humans.
On the topics of work and biotechnology, the pope does not deny progress, but implies that we must be very mindful of the two worldviews he has judged. If we are to use our knowledge for true progress, he says, we must not proceed with this misguided worldview. Instead, we must learn to respect limits, work with what is given in nature, and be aware that everything is gift. Our immediate satisfaction cannot be in the driverâs seat.
