Extra Dimensions

If you have no gates turned on within a particular center, check out the “Extra Dimension” notes at the bottom of the relevant section. When no gates are on in a center, that center is referred to as “open” as well as undefined, bringing an extra dimension to its meaning. This also makes it extra sensitive to the conditioning influences of other designs. Each footnote, therefore, will explain what each open center means.

Now, look at your life chart to determine what gates you have turned on and explore these additional facets of your nature.

You will, inevitably, find parallels between the traditional descriptions of the I Ching hexagrams and some of the Human Design interpretations I present here. We’ll now dissect those meanings one by one, center by center, starting with the lower numbers and moving to the higher each time... because each gate tells its own story about you.
