“And there’s another ride over here!” shouted Sunshine, leaping on to the trampoline. “Wheeeee!” he yelled, springing as high as he could. “I’m nearly as high as the apple tree!” Dempsey joined him and the pair cavorted for a few minutes, thinking the city sure is a fine place for raccoons to be. Dempsey got carried away and nearly bounced off the trampoline. His claws came out to steady himself and there was a huge ripping sound. Both racoons fell through the black material, landing in a laughing heap on the grass. “Cool game,” chuckled Sunshine. “Let’s see what else the city’s got.”
