14 Using the template as a guide, glue the baby’s body and head to the manger. Glue the halo to the head.

Roll forty 16-inch (40.6 cm) lengths of ¼-inch-wide (6 mm) beige quilling paper into a large tight circle; use the tuck and roll technique or glue the strips end to end to make it easier to roll. If you use the tuck and roll technique, after 20 strips, put a little glue on the end of the tucking strip so that the paper stays in place while rolling.
16 For the angel’s stand, roll six 16-inch (40.6 cm) lengths of ¼-inch-wide (6 mm) beige quilling paper into a cone (Dome F) using the tuck and roll technique.
17 Glue the angel’s stand, Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus to the base. Glue the angel to the stand.
