Chapter Six

If Leigh and Benji kept up the same routine they’d easily slipped into this week, she was going to have to start eating the same amount of protein he did. They’d had lunch every day in his room and then spent hours working it off, sometimes working up their appetite before chowing down on the likes of steak, seafood, and gourmet chicken. She really only cared about devouring him, though.

After eating today, they’d had sex on the bed and then again in the shower. She knew he was strong, but he’d lifted her up as if she weighed little more than a sack of potatoes. The fact that he could lift her up and down on his cock as they had sex was the hottest thing ever. If they hadn’t been in the shower and already wet, she was fairly sure he wouldn’t have even worked up a sweat. Images of him holding her up and working her on him would stay with her for the rest of her life.

There was no denying he affected her. She only wished she could make him as weak in the knees as he did her. A man as big and strong as he was didn’t crumble easily.

“Hey,” Nikki said as she poked her head into the small office.

Leigh flinched and grabbed her chest. “You scared me.”

“Sorry, you must really be focused on those itemized bills you’re prepping.”

“Yep,” she lied. She’d done really well not letting Benji invade her thoughts too much while she was working because once that happened, she would marinate in those memories and be completely worthless. Not really the best thing to do when she was up for a promotion. When he checked out, she’d do better. Of course, she tried not to think of that either because thoughts of him leaving would distract her in a completely different way.

“You wanted me to let you know when your cousin and her friends checked in. They’re up front.”

Leigh jumped up from her chair, ran around the desk and into the front area of the lobby. When she saw Reagan, she squealed.

“Oh my God,” Reagan yelled as they practically flew into a hug. “I’ve missed you so much.”

“Me, too.” She pulled back and stroked Reagan’s hair. “You look so good.”

Reagan stepped back and raised her hands. “What can I say, it’s in our blood.”

“Damn straight.” Leigh winked. She looked to the side. “These your friends?” It was a pretty good guess since the ladies all stood close by her.

“Yeah. Leigh, this is Sophie, Taylor, Morgan, Brindle, and Hannah.”

“Nice to meet you. What’s the WIFI password here?”

“Taylor, we just got here.” Reagan rolled her eyes. “Don’t mind her. She’s moving this weekend.”

“Actually, I’m not. My boyfriend and his buddies are moving me while I’m on vacation, and y’all talked me into leaving a day early,” the Taylor chick said. What confused Leigh was that she’d said it like it was a bad thing.

“Wow, impressive,” Leigh said with a crooked smile. “I hope I’m like you when I grow up,” she said, jokingly.
