YELLOW FLOWERS

Make twenty-four flowers. For each flower, make five-light coils with a centre hole, using 1/8 length yellow strips.

STEMS

Prepare five 5’’ (12.7 cm) long moss green strips. Glue them together, leaving (1 cm) from the end unglued, spread the unglued ends. Glue five yellow flowers above the spread ends, and glue six more yellow flowers above those. Repeat to make a total of two stems.

PURPLE FLOWERS

Make angled marquises with full-length purple strips. Wrap a moss green strip twice each. Make three petal flowers.

STEMS

Glue five 4’’ (10 cm) long moss green strips together and the upper portion. Make a wide or narrow bend in the stems, according to the desired position of the purple flower.

YELLOW FLOWER WRAPPED IN WHITE STRIPS

Make two half moon shapes. Fold a 5/16 (8 mm) long tangerine strip in half, connect a ½ length yellow strip, and then make a four loop vertical husking. To form the petal, position the strips between two half moons. Wrap the finished petal with a half length white strip, leaving some

space at the tips of the petals.
