Step 15: Mid-plane Trees, Fence and Ground Make sure the grass is dry and then give the bare trees shadows with a no. 2 liner and a glaze of Ultra Blue Deep + Soft Black.

Add a path with a no. 10 sable bright and Burnt Sienna. Shade with Dark Chocolate + a bit of Soft Black. Highlight with a bit of Cadmium Orange + Warm White. Tap in a bit of the grass color over the road edges using colors from step 14.

Step 16: Rock Wall, Grass and Ground Apply Canvas Gel to the rock wall area with a paper towel. Pick up Soft Black + Ultra Blue Deep and base in the wall area with a no. 16 sable bright. While this area is still wet, use a no. 4 sable bright and a dirty white that has blue tones to add the rocks.

Then paint tones down over the wet dark base, creating a suggestion of rocks. Highlight the rocks on top of the wall with dirty white. Highlight again with Warm White + Cadmium Orange and Warm White + Cadmium Yellow.
