Donnie started to come to. “What are you doing?”

“Getting the most out of your gift!” I explained. “Meat Sweats is getting a little hot under his—”

POW! The mutant pig nailed me with his mallet!

“I get it, Leo!” Mikey said. “These gifts can help, if we use them OUR WAY!”

He jumped up between two pipes, right over Meat Sweats. His suit inflated, wedging him there. Then it deflated. As he fell, it inflated again! Mikey bounced Meat Sweats right into a pile of pots and pans, and then bounced safely away! “RAZZ, MAZZ, and TAZZ!” Mikey cheered.

But Meat Sweats wasn’t done. He crawled out and came at me with his mallet. I gave him another jolt with the collar. “Hey, Meat Sweats! I hear baloney is full of YOU!”

ZZZZAP!

While the mutant pig recovered from the shock, Raph raced toward him.

“Wait, Raphael,” his helmet warned. “You need a plan.”

“Gah!” Raph groaned. He pulled the helmet off his head, put it on his fist, and charged Meat Sweats.

“Bad plan!” warned the helmet.

WHAM!

Raph slammed into Meat Sweats with everything he had! “Cowabunga!” he cried.

The pig rocketed down a tunnel. We heard a subway train blast its horn, and then the train came zooming out of the tunnel with Meat Sweats plastered across its front.

“Ah, rubbish!” he yelled as he rode off into the distance.

We ran to Donnie and cut him off the rotisserie spit.

“Donnie,” Raph said, grinning, “your gifts really brought out the best in us!”

“I’m funnier!” I agreed, nodding.

“I’m bouncier!” Mikey added.

“And I’m smashier!” Raph concluded. “Your gifts are the stuff!”

“But you were supposed to …,” Donnie started. Then he stopped. “Ah, forget it. You guys are great the way you are. Bring it in! Group hug!”

Victorious and proud, we pulled each other together into a hug. But then heard Mikey’s suit warn, “Impact imminent!”

POP!

His suit inflated, and we all went flying!
