There are people that love themselves unconditionally, no matter what. You have probably come across such people in your life – those who are happy with who they are and what they do, and seem to be surprisingly okay with their flaws.

Such people puzzle and sometimes annoy people with no self-esteem, because they seem to have it in great excess. Yet such people are not narcissists, because they don’t need to be validated by you or anyone else. They don’t try to manipulate others. They don’t have the anger and malice when they don’t get what they think they deserve, as the narcissists do. They are self-sufficient and rather happy people, to my view.
