Widely distributed in the Northern Hemisphere and produces beautiful drooping flowers. Dwarf varieties are good for including in moss balls. Most regular Japanese varieties are smaller than Western types and so are also suitable for moss balls. During winter, the top portion wilts, so you may want to pair this up with an evergreen.
