MAKE IT YOURS/ Change the tone of this make by switching the white yarn for a darker shade, like gray or black.

Tips

Sew on the buttons securely; if your yarn needle doesn’t pass easily through the button’s hole, try using a needle and matching sewing cotton instead.

Changing yarn color so frequently leaves lots of ends to weave in; hold the ends of the yarn against the work as you change color, and work the stitches to secure the ends as you go.

Round 2: Ch1, *1sc in each st to next corner, (1sc, ch1, 1sc) in corner; rep from * twice more, create buttonholes as foll: 1sc in each of next 5 sts, ch6, 1sc in each of next 32 sts, ch6, 1sc in each of next 32 sts, ch6, 1sc in each st to next corner, (1sc, ch1, 1sc) in corner, join with a sl st in first sc.
