The storage class that is most appropriate for your objects depends on various factors such as your application needs, the expected frequency of retrievals (and how this changes over time), and the speed of retrieval. For each of your object types, it will make sense to define a transition plan: ensure that each object is placed in the appropriate class and is transitioned to another class at the right time.

Examples:

Normal usage: If an object is retrieved a few times a day, it will make sense to place it in the S3 Standard class.
