5Line up your ruler on the marks and cut the strip.
6Cut a second strip the same width, then attach the pattern pieces to the glass. Because we used a heavy textured glass (ripple) and wanted the texture to be on the outside, we turned the pattern pieces upside down and attached them to the smooth side of the glass. Remember: Always cut on the smoother side of the glass.
PRO TIP
When using textured glass, you may choose either side to face out. Neither is right or wrong. The decision is based purely on aesthetics—which look do you prefer? I generally use the texture on the outside, but you may do otherwise.
