BLOCK 6
Follow the numbers to understand the continuous-line strategy in this block. Ask yourself, “Which areas are completed entirely? Which design lines are left open, and why?” Notice the simple path in and out of the corner four-patches that mimics your practice of border designs with squares set on point (see Basic Connecting Designs). Fill in the numbers to complete the path. Work in a clockwise direction around the block.
Tip • If you lose track of where you are going, stop at an intersection with your needle down; then continue quilting when you have confirmed where to go next. And remember your clockwise direction!
