STEP 1

Flatten and shape a 1-inch ball of white clay into a rectangle (see here) about 3/5 to ½ inch thick. Flatten and shape a ⅞-inch ball of silver clay into a flat square of approximately the same thickness as the white rectangle.

METAL AND HARD PLASTIC ITEMS ARE BEST FOR THIS PROJECT SINCE THEY’LL BE BAKED IN AN OVEN. COMMON SENSE APPLIES IN TERMS OF MAKING AND BAKING YOUR ROBOT. DON’T USE DANGEROUS OR COMBUSTIBLE OBJECTS, INCLUDING SHARP BLADES, BATTERIES, OR FUSES.

STEP 2

Attach the silver head to the white body, firming together well.
