1. Three songs could not be attributed to specific teams for various reasons.
2. Oshiwana is Oshikwanyama and Oshimbalantu; the Oshindonga equivalent is oshigwana (pl. iigwana).
3. Since transitions between verses are often abrupt, it is not safe to assume that references to Namibia in one verse establish a context for interpreting lines in other verses in the same song.
4. Composers occasionally used oshitunda instead of oshilongo; the two words are synonyms, and both belong to the same noun class, so for simplicityâs sake, I refer only to the more frequently used oshilongo in the text.
