PARTY CELEBRATION

With a few cuts and folds you can put together sweet and festive birthday party decorations. I coordinated this look by staying with five colors, but you can, of course, mix colors randomly or just stick with one color.

Make the party hats and popcorn cones using the template here. Little triangle and square flags are easy to string or glue on toothpicks, but why not try other shapes as well? To create the coasters, trace a round shape (I used the lid of a mason jar as a guide) and cut out. To make the birthday banner, draw the letters on folded sheets of paper, placing the top of each letter at the fold, then cut out and hang on a string. Instructions for the boxes—so cute for holding snacks and sweets and as take-home party favors—are in this book, too.
