Booty, butt, or whatever you like to call your rear view, the truth is a more pronounced derriere has replaced the trend of having a flat butt (now that’s good news) and hopefully it’s here to stay. The following lunges, squats, and other ball exercises will help you define your booty, giving your backside a shapelier look while simultaneously toning and tightening your hips.

Before you begin, you’ll want to start with a warm-up to get your heart rate up slowly and increase muscle temperature. Because you are working the large muscle groups in the lower half of the body, it’s important to warm them up properly by walking, biking, jogging, jumping rope (see Chapter 7), or doing calisthenics.
