Transferring a design by tracing
Trace around the image with a soft pencil (2B or softer).
With the tracing face down on the block, scribble on the back.
Your design will now be in reverse on the block.
Carve around the design, leaving the area to be printed.
Trim any excess lino away with scissors.
When you print your block the image will be the right way round.
Transferring a design with carbon paper
You will need carbon paper, tape, pencil, lino and your design.
