Pattern Notes
Afghan is worked in squares with 2 strands of yarn held together throughout.
Pull yarn from inside when using 2 balls together.
Afghan can be assembled and edged by sewing, if desired.
Flowers are knitted in by intarsia method. Use about 9 yards of a double strand for background at left of the flower and approximately 2 feet for the flower center. Do not carry yarn across more than 3 stitches without catching it in.
When changing colors, bring new color under and around previous color to twist yarn on wrong side and prevent holes.
Slip stitches knitwise with yarn held in back.
