Rnd 2: Ch 1, turn. *Inc* around. Note the first ch does not count as a st throughout. (12)

Rnd 3: Ch 1, turn. *Sc, Inc* around. (18)

Rnd 4: Ch 1, turn. *Sc 2, Inc* around. (24)

Rnd 5: Ch 1, turn. *Sc 3, Inc* around. (30)

Rnd 6: Ch 1, turn. *Sc 4, Inc* around. (36)

Rnd 7: Ch 1, turn. *Sc 5, Inc* around. (42)

Rnd 8: Ch 1, turn. *Sc 6, Inc* around. (48)

Rnd 9: Ch 1, turn. *Sc 7, Inc* around. (54)

Rnd 10: Ch 1, turn. *Sc 8, Inc* around. (60)

When finishing the first panel, finish off and leave a tail for sewing.

When finishing the second panel for the lily pad, do not finish off or cut the yarn. You will use the working yarn to attach the two panels.

In the second panel, the one with the working yarn still attached, insert the safety eyes into Rnd 5 with 11 sts between on the bottom half. The rnd will naturally curve, but the eyes will still be in the same rnd.
