Chapter Eight

The Inheritors of the Grail

History and mythology are always interwoven.

In September of 1997, approximately two weeks after the death of Princess Diana, I had a remarkable dream about a legacy passed from mother to son—Diana to Harry.

In the dream, I was sitting in the back seat of a limousine with young Prince Harry who at the time was only 12 years of age, barely an adolescent. I was a special companion and caregiver to the Prince looking out for his emotional wellbeing since the death of his mother. I pulled out a greeting card from my purse and gifted it too him. Harry smiled in response to a moveable humorous clown that popped up from the card. There was a cheerful greeting written inside. As his caregiver, I was naturally concerned about his emotional state. With the loss of his mother Princess Diana, who had tragically died in a car crash on the fateful night of August 31st the same year, I thought his spirit and soul needed tending, mothering from someone deeply connected to him. Even though our paths in this life had never crossed our souls were old friends. It seemed that our hearts had grown fond of each other from lifetimes before, his soul a very familiar one to my own. I wanted to lift his spirits and spend some time communicating heart-felt love.

In the next scene of the dream, we arrived at Buckingham Palace and made our way through a grand foyer and emerged in a formal dining room. The Queen greeted us with what might be described as a poker face, appearing emotionally detached, stiff and unwelcoming. Harry walked straight up to her and boldly asked for his silver christening cup, a gift from his mother at the time of his baptism. The Queen retrieved it and Harry and I sat at the long table polishing it with a soft cloth. We removed the tarnish from years of neglect.

Even at the time of the dream, I realized this was no ordinary dream. It represented a communion and communication between two souls, a dream that knew no boundaries despite the long distance geographically between the dreamers. Harry and I were as close as if we were truly in the same car or in the same room which in this case was a grand dining hall, with me nurturing his grieving heart and pointing him towards his legacy and a destiny. Dream researchers, like myself, refer to dreams like this one as telepathic dreams, as they involve a sixth sense and represent communications at psychic and spiritual dimensions. Two dreamers come together at an invisible dimension, a dreamscape, touch each other’s consciousness for a personal and divine purpose. They commune to heal one another, offer a helping hand of sorts and usually communicate something important. For Harry, my intercession represented a call to his soul to begin his quest for the Holy Grail, perhaps not consciously at first but with time doors would open for him to advance spiritually.
