You should take your dog to the vet for regular checkups! It’s important for your dog to get shots regularly and to get its blood tested when it’s needed. Usually a dog goes to the vet once or twice a year, depending on how old the dog is.

A healthy dog has a clean, shiny coat. You should brush your dog every day, especially if you have a dog that sheds a lot. Most dogs only need a bath every few months. Dogs need their nails clipped and their ears cleaned regularly. If your dog doesn’t chew on bones, you may also need to brush its teeth!
