Tips for Use of Third-Party Video and Audio Content

If a vendor has not created a video that discusses a resource or feature that you are considering creating a screencast about, you may first want to contact your vendor representative and ask whether the training department can make that video for you and other customers to use.

Some instructors are wary of using Content that others have created because they do not want students to get the impression that they are not willing to make that Content themselves. There is no need to worry about this because students nowadays are quite accustomed to using a variety of online streaming videos as how-to tutorials, and your assigning someone else’s Content will not seem unusual to them.
