Nearly two hours had passed when Rowan finally woke again. She was still held in Cree’s arms. However, she was wrapped in a thin fabric and they were soaring through the darkening sky of the Light Fae lands.

He watched her hips sway as she walked away. “What?” he asked blankly.

She laughed. “Do you want to join me for a shower before dinner?”

The glass doors of the large tile shower stall quickly fogged as Rowan started the hot water and tendrils of steam rose and licked at them.
