“Donald loves reggae music. He’s got every Bob Marley-looking, ganga-smoking, dreadlock-wearing, Rasta man album that ever came out. You’d think Donald was born in Montego Bay instead of straight out of Houston. Frankly, I can’t stand reggae. It gives me a headache after five minutes. Sometimes I tease him, telling him, if I come over and hear reggae playing, I won’t even knock—I’ll just turn around and go home and put on some real music. He pays that absolutely no attention, because he knows how many Saturday mornings I’m down at different music stores, rummaging through the reggae section to find something that Donald doesn’t have. You know I always walk out of those stores happily carrying another CD for Donald as if it were made of gold. I enjoy doing that because I know how much it means to him.”
