In between the exposures, when the laser light is blocked, we’re going to change the object, place it in a “mirror image fashion,” and rotate the plate through 90°. This causes two separate images to be exposed on the same plate. When we develop this plate, what we will find is that two different holograms can be viewed from two different angles.

In fact, once you’ve proved you can do this with two exposures, there is nothing to stop you from making more exposures with additional angles and objects. Just remember, that each time you add an exposure, you need to reduce the time for that exposure. The sum of all the individual exposures should be the same as that which you would give a holographic plate if you were making a single exposure.
