Chapter Six

Haven opened her eyes and stretched, moaning at the same time. Every part of her skin was sensitive, and she bet if she stood in front of that full-length mirror now her skin would carry their marks.

“Aww, she’s awake. Good, the bond is slowly forming,” Landon said as he came out of the bathroom as Cody carried in a cup of coffee placing it on the nightstand next to her. “You have ten minutes in the shower, Little Filly. I’ve laid out some dark clothes for you so get moving. While you are eating we’ll have a little chat about your silence when I asked if you if you were hurting.” Landon reached over and lifted up her arm placing a kiss on her bruised wrist.

“But I really didn’t feel anything,” Haven said, frowning as she sat up and swung her feet around. “I’ve never bruised before. Do you think it’s the change?” she asked, looking up at him.

He tilted his head to the side. “It must be. I’m happy you told us the truth.” He leaned down, kissed her lips softly, not like he had done last night. “Shower Little Filly, so you can eat something before everyone gets here.”

Haven smiled as she got up and made her way to the bathroom, sensing that those two men had just started with her, but first her problem must be dealt with. She glanced in the bathroom mirror. “What the hell?”

“Oh, yeah your hair color is back to normal. Afraid it will always go back to normal no matter what you dye it and it will always grow fast,” Cody said behind her, grabbing a shirt off the counter before placing a kiss on her shoulder. “Move it, pretty lady.” He tapped her butt, staring at her.

“Okay, what other changes are going to happen?” she asked, looking at Cody through the mirror.

“Each person is different from what we were told. We knew about the hair and the eyes, but from here it will be a surprise to us all too,” he squeezed her butt cheek. “But we’ll be there with you the whole way.” Cody frowned. “Do you need to feed now?”

“I usually feed in the morning, but I feel good.” She frowned. “Do you think it has to do with the change?” Haven turned around, staring up at Cody.

“Feed her, we need her at full strength today. We can’t risk her need to feed later,” Landon said and turned heading towards the door. “I’ll have breakfast started. I heard Turtle and Thor arrive already.”

Cody wrapped his arm around her and pulled her into his body, gripping her ass cheeks, his shirt brushing up against her skin. “Take what you need, Little Filly,” he told her leaning down and placing a kiss on her neck where the choker laid against her skin.

Sliding her arms up around his neck, Haven took a deep breath, rubbing her cheek on his chest. “You guys smell so good,” she whispered against his chest, placing a kiss licking the spot over his heart before sinking her fangs into him.
