This special assortment, sold at an auction because it was so large, includes a 42-item collection of cool Harry Pottery such as six spell-casting magical wooden wands (mostly official Harry Potter/Warner Bros. issue), three inside original boxes, two loose and one in a linen sleeve, plus three empty boxes; a “Basilisk Fang” movie prop made for The Chamber of Secrets with Certificate of Authenticity “made with the same standards that the original prop was” dated 12-8-06; a Harry Potter-issue wizard “Divination” hand-made wooden chest with reed-weave cover, embossed metal label (from the film, Prisoner of Azkaban) and closing latch that inside includes a crystal with wooden stand, actual loose-leaf tea “Unfogging the Future” with casters, small porcelain teacup with saucer, held in place with gray Styrofoam; Prisoner of Azkaban Press Kit with two CD-Roms (each in case) and two packets of pages with color copied photos from the movie, several ticket stubs, laid inside two plastic holders; 12 books: Quidditch Through the Ages [and] Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them (two vols) — two copies each (boards and then wraps), Wizarding World Press’ New Clues to Harry Potter: Book 5, A Detective’s Analysis of Harry Potter and the Mysteries Within, The Hidden Key to Harry Potter, The Sorcerer’s Companion; A Muggle’s Guide to the Wizarding World, The Modern Witchcraft Spellbook, The Magical Worlds of Harry Potter, The Science of Harry Potter (boards, dj), (mostly wrappers — three hardcover); six magazines and other books: Sorcerer’s Stone poster book and postcard book; two Newsweek magazines (July 10 and 17, 2000); Starlog Movie Magic magazine, Feb. 2002; 2002 Harry Potter issue of Borders magazine; four official Harry Potter metal bookmarks, two Harry Potter calendars (2002-03) plus promotional paper items for the Harry Potter films (three photos and two holographic boards of Sirius Black Wanted). The entire collection sold for $900!
