Preparing the Room

Before you move equipment into your grow room, you should make sure the room is empty and completely enclosed. Start by removing anything in the grow space that does not involve growing. Most importantly, remove any clothes, drapes, or furniture that might introduce fungi and pests to your plants.

Once the room is cleared, it’s time to vacuum, mop, scrub, dust and whatever else it takes to make the area spotless. Finally, use some disinfectant over every surface in the room. Cleaning can be a lot of work, but it helps eliminate a lot of problems before you start growing.
