In the already familiar letter of Ludwig Focke to the cathedral chapter, in which he otherwise supports his son-in-law, Anna’s father mentions that after Dusík’s first departure from the family, from which he subsequently remorsefully returned, Ludwig Focke himself took his daughter into his own protection because he could “ni mogel dopustiti, da bi se njegov otrok potikal po svetu z nepremišljenim moškim” 230 (‘not allow his child to wander the world with a reckless man’). Given the fact that Ludwig Focke lived in Stična, where, according to the correspondence addressed to the Čáslav town office, his son Michael and most likely his daughter Anna, Dusík’s wife, also lived, we can conclude that, at least during the period in question, all three of them lived together. In the death register it is recorded that the deceased father, Ludwig, lived at the address Stična 1. This is the address of the dissolved Stična Cistercian monastery. After the Josephinian reforms, the monastery buildings were primarily inhabited by families of state officials, amongst whom was evidently the Focke family.

A few years later, another tragedy befell Anna. On 23 March 1818, at the age of only forty-six, Anna’s brother Michael died of pneumonia and was buried two days later. If the information about his age contained in the death register can be relied upon, he was born in either 1772 or 1771, and was therefore some two years younger than his sister. In the parish death register it is stated that Michael lived at the same address at which it can be assumed that, at least until that time, Dusík’s wife, and by then probably his widow, lived. This is the last piece of information that we have about Anna’s life.

We know that at the beginning of 1814 Dusík was again at the Gorizia theatre, where as a singer and pianist he prepared a concert evening of his own works and certain works by other composers. As we can ascertain from the theatre register ( Registro degli spettacoli ) of the Gorizia Provincial Theatre, he prepared a characteristically colourful programme. The concert included Joseph Haydn’s Symphony no. 94 (“mit dem Paukenschlag” [‘Surprise’]), a piano concerto by ‘the Gorizian Professor Cormundj, who also performed the work’, a duet from the opera Il Pirro by Giovanni Paisiello, performed by a certain girl Schlanderer and Cormundj, ‘a new symphony written by the aforementioned Cormundj’, ‘a completely new violin concerto, performed by the Gorizian Professor Persich’, Hummel’s variations for piano and orchestra, another piano concerto by Cormundj, and concluded with a capriccio, again performed by Cormundj. 231 Dusík, known as Cormundj, thus led the performance of the concert, while also presenting his own compositions.
