Sew a print B square to either side of the center unit. Make one row.

Sew the three rows together to complete the block. Make 16.

Putting It All Together

Sew the blocks together on the diagonal, adding in the gray setting squares and the setting triangles as shown in the diagram below.

Once the rows are stitched together, add a corner triangle to each corner.

Measure the quilt top through the center from top to bottom. Sew enough 2 1/2” purple strips together to equal that measurement. Make 2 and sew one to the either side of the quilt top.

Measure the quilt top through the center from side to side. Sew enough 2 1/2” purple strips together to equal that measurement. Make 2 and sew one to the top of the quilt and the other to the bottom.

Measure the quilt top through the center from top to bottom. Sew enough 4” gray strips together to equal that measurement. Make 2 and sew one to either side of the quilt.

Measure the quilt top through the center from side to side. Sew enough 4” gray strips together to equal that measurement. Make 2 and sew one to the top of the quilt and the other to the bottom.

Layer the quilt with backing and batting, and quilt as desired.
