FINISHING AND FRAMING YOUR PIECE
Once you are done stitching, you can frame your piece either in your embroidery hoop or in a more traditional picture frame. But before you frame, there are a few optional steps you can take to make sure your piece looks its best.
WASHING YOUR PIECE
It is normal for the fabric to get a bit dirty while stitching, even just from the natural oils on your hands. To wash your piece, first run it under cold water, then gently hand-wash it in a clean sink, using a small amount of dish soap or mild detergent. Rinse all the soap out with cold water. Do not wring it dry. Instead, roll it between two towels and then leave it flat to air-dry.
