2 × 100g (31⁄2oz) balls of Rowan Big Wool in Glum (shade 56)

The finished cowl is approximately 38 × 70cm (15 × 28in).
PATTERN
Note: The (ch 1, turn) at the beginning of each row is your turning chain and is not counted as a stitch.
Foundation chain: In Burnt Orange, ch 45.
Row 1: (ch 1), dc 1, *ch 1, sk st, dc 1* repeat from * to * across row.
Row 2: (ch 1, turn), dc 1, dc 1 in ch-1sp *ch 1, dc 1 in ch-1sp* repeat from * to * to last st, dc 1 in last stitch.
Row 3: (ch 1, turn), dc 1, ch 1, *dc 1 in ch-1sp, ch 1* repeat from * to * to last st, dc 1 in last stitch.
Rows 4–48 (approx): repeat Rows 2 and 3 alternately, change colour to Glum at Row 25, or when you run out of yarn.
Leave enough yarn to join together.
