Particular Solution:

• Solution obtained by giving particular values to the arbitrary constants in the general solution of a differential equation is called a particular solution.

Example:

• y = 3 cos x + 2 sin x, is a particular solution of the differential equation

Example:

• Show that the function y = (A + B)e3x is a solution of the equation
