6.2 The Challenges and Values

If there is close alignment between the values of the Modern Social Imaginary, outlined in sections “Modern Social Imaginary Values in the Spatial Domain”, “Modern Social Imaginary Values in the Temporal Domain”, and “Modern Social Imaginary Values in the Ontological Domain” (Chap. 3), and the challenges of the 21st Century as identified in Chap. 5, then this would suggest that there is little necessity for change, and that the Modern Social Imaginary should meet the challenges of the 21st Century. If, however, there is limited or no alignment, then it implies that the Modern Social Imaginary may well not meet the challenges of the 21st Century.
