Mashed Potatoes Served with Broccoli

This should be a perfect breakfast recipe.

Portion Size: 4

Duration: 20 minutes

Ingredient List:

• 3 cups or ½ bunch of finely chopped broccoli

• 1 lbs. of peeled and cut Yukon Gold potatoes

• ¼ of a cup of sour cream

• 4 tbsp. of softened and unsalted butter

• ½ tsp. each of salt and black pepper

How to Cook:

Get a medium to a large saucepan and fill it up with an inch of water before fitting it with a steamer basket.

Bring the water to boil, place the chopped broccoli and potatoes inside the steamer basket, and steam for about 12 minutes until they become very tender.

Drain the vegetables and return them to the pot. Add your sour cream, butter, salt, pepper, and marsh them into a fine consistency.

Serve immediately.
