The center of the eye and bottom of the nose fall on the same line. Sketching in a guideline can help you position them correctly.

The eye sockets are so pronounced that you can usually see the bulge of the far eye socket, even in a profile.

The contour lines always move from high to low.

Add mass to the forehead. Don’t underestimate how large it is or be overly concerned that it will make the deer aesthetically unappealing—it won’t. Place the antlers well above and behind the ears. Note that only male deer have the large antlers (see here for an example of a doe).
