¼ cup bottled salsa (not chunky) or taco sauce (mild or medium) ½c 1c 1½c
¼ t. salt ½t 1t 1½t
2 cups panko breadcrumbs* 4c 8c 12c
2 t. chili powder 1T + 1t 2T + 2t ¼c
2 t. ground cumin 1T + 1t 2T + 2t ¼c
1½ t. garlic salt 1T 2T 3T
½ t. dried oregano 1t 2t 1T
Serving Day
¼ cup butter
sliced avocado, cherry tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa
*Japanese panko breadcrumbs can be found in the gourmet/ethnic section of larger grocery stores or in larger quantities in Asian markets. Panko crumbs are much lighter than regular breadcrumbs, and make a crunchier coating when baked or fried.
