The cost of educational services consists of the costs associated with the use of material, labor resources, fixed assets and other resources. In accordance with the economic content, all costs are grouped by costing items, which allows determining the unit cost of production. This process is involved in determining the effectiveness, competitiveness of educational services, identifying ways to reduce costs, making effective managerial decisions. Due to the fact that all costs are divided into direct and indirect, the direction of increasing the reliability of indicators of the cost of educational services is the correct choice of methods for distributing indirect costs. At the same time, the direct costs include the salaries of the teaching staff, consumables, for example, laboratory reagents, special aids, training devices and tools. Indirect costs include salaries of heads of departments, maintenance personnel, depreciation, material costs associated with the maintenance of equipment and training facilities. The choice of the base for the distribution of indirect costs will affect the objectivity of the amount of costs attributable to a particular educational service. The allocation of costs to processes will allow attributing indirect costs to the corresponding activities.
