Crocheting the Blue Pants

Ch 8, join with slip st to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), (ch 2, 2 dc) seven times in ring, ch 2, dc in ring, join with slip st to top of ch-3. You now have 16 dc and 8 ch-2 corners.

Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in next ch, ch 2, dc in next ch, *dc in next 2 dc and in next ch, ch 2, dc in next ch; repeat from * around, ending dc in last dc, join with slip st to top of ch-3.

Rnd 3: Ch 3, *dc in each dc to ch-2, dc in next ch, ch 2, dc in next ch; repeat from * around, ending dc in each dc to end of rnd, join with slip st to top of ch-3.

Repeat Rnd 3 until piece measures 10"/25.5 cm from center ring. You now have eight triangular sections. Section 1 is the center back and contains the beginning/ending of rnds. Counting in the direction of your stitching, pm in center top edge of triangular section 5.

Finish pants as for yellow version.
