And of course relatives had relatives, some of them in very useful jobs.

The [fishing] vessel sailed round and into Dyrøysundet, and Pevik went to see his cousin, a nephew of Lars Johansen, who is the postman at Dyrøya [‘Animal Island’, off the north coast of Frøya]. The latter showed them a place on an island further out to sea suitable for the remainder of the shipment, that is to say, about 130 crates of explosives and the Luger pistols.

This was Sunday night, the 19/20th April. It turned out that the [coastal] line-steamer, ‘Hitra’ or ‘Frøya’, had returned to Trondheim on Sunday morning, so Arne and myself had to wait a whole week out there for the next steamer.
