Remove from the oven and let cool for about 10 to 15 minutes before serving.

Variation: The mini biscuit is smaller and a great snack to pop into your mouth or use for appetizers, dips and spreads. Using a small spoon or smaller ice cream scoop (or melon baller), you can make what we call the “mini biscuit”. After coating an 8x8 pan with cooking spray, scoop out the mix into the pan while nesting the balls one next to the other in the same way as the larger sized biscuits. You should end up with about 25 biscuits in the pan. Bake at the same temperature, after 15 minutes turn the pan 180 degrees and bake for another 5-10 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick. If it comes out clean and the tops are golden brown your biscuits are ready.
