Rosemary goes well with any poultry, tomato or lamb dish. You can use it with many vegetables, in soups and stews for that extra flavor. I even chop some rosemary finely and add it to custards and breads.

Sage

Sage is happy to grow with its fellow herb, rosemary. Like rosemary, it will steer away carrot flies and cabbage moths, so combine them with these vegetables. Do not grow near cucumbers, though.

Sage is absolutely delicious in stuffing. You can also try it with pickles, soups, peas and beans, as well as in salads. It is good for your health since it reduces the need for salt in dishes.

Tarragon

You can plant this herb as a companion to any vegetable.
