I needed hell to exist. It helped me focus. It kept me striving toward being a good fundamentalist. It caused me to pray and read my Bible. It even helped me turn off the television when T. J. Hooker said a bad word.

I wouldn’t have been a Christian without hell. I guess it’s kind of like sex—it sells.
